Lorrina provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and ongoing medication management for adults — much of the same care a psychiatrist provides, delivered one-on-one with time to listen.
Evaluation and medication management for depressive disorders.
Treatment for generalized anxiety and related conditions.
Diagnosis and ongoing mood-stabilizing medication management.
Evaluation and medication management for adult ADHD.
Trauma-informed psychiatric care, drawing on years in trauma treatment settings.
Psychiatric care for substance use and co-occurring conditions.
Evaluation and treatment for sleep-related concerns affecting mental health.
A Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) is a board-certified, advanced-practice provider trained specifically in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. Like a psychiatrist, Lorrina can evaluate, diagnose, and prescribe medication for psychiatric conditions.
Lorrina is not a psychiatrist — but many patients choose to see a PMHNP instead of a psychiatrist for ongoing psychiatric care and medication management, often with more availability and more one-on-one time per visit. Read a fuller explanation of the difference on our Insurance & FAQ page.
All appointments are conducted via secure telehealth. Lorrina is currently licensed and practicing for patients located in Florida.
