Lorrina Whalen, PMHNP-BC, provides board-certified psychiatric evaluation and medication management, with the same kind of care many patients look for from a psychiatrist — delivered one-on-one, with time to listen.
Mental health care works best when it looks at the whole person, not just a diagnosis. With more than two decades in healthcare — including 20 years of service in the United States Air Force — and years of direct experience in psychiatric, trauma, and addiction care, Lorrina brings both clinical expertise and genuine compassion to every patient relationship.
She works collaboratively with therapists, physicians, and care teams, because the best outcomes happen when everyone involved in your care is working from the same page.
As a 20-year Air Force veteran who also grew up in a military family, Lorrina understands this lifestyle from both sides — the demands of service itself, and the experience of a childhood spent moving from base to base. She's seen firsthand how deployment, transition, and frequent relocation can shape mental health, for service members and for the family members who move through that life alongside them. She's honored to care for the military community and brings that lived understanding into every session.
Care for adults 18 and older, conducted entirely by secure telehealth, currently for patients located in Florida.
